Hotel was convenient for the purpose of my trip. Room was spacious and not sufficiently heated but staff provided a portable heater that did the trick. The hot water in the shower was tricky to figure out but it did work. Food was surprisingly good. However in my 50 years of travelling, this is the first time I have had such an unpleasant experience of having a used condom stuck through the door knob of my room. Obviously a prank and an act of vandalism and not the fault of the hotel and staff was very apologetic. Nevertheless it made for an unpleasant stay and a reminder for solo travellers to stay safety conscious wherever you are. All in all, staff was responsive and nice.

Quiet place off the M25 opposite Thurrock. The service was good,happy and friendly.
Would book again for Christmas as it’s close to family and M25.

Business travel and I ended in this hotel. The hotel is acceptable but the service is appalling. I have asked for an adapter because there is no European plug and the guy from reception was extremely rude and aggressive.
It’s frustrating when you don’t receive the service you expect, especially from someone at the reception. Im considering sharing this feedback with the hotel management. Very disappointed.

Estuvimos en el hotel por trabajo y la verdad que muy bien, la habitación muy bien y sobre todo la atención de la chica de la recepción,que nosotros sin hablar inglés y ella sin hablar español intento por todos los medios hacer por entendernos y nos explicó todo muy bien, muy recomendable calidad precio y atención de 10

Jamie and manageress couldn't have been more helpful after our vehicle brokedown near by late at night..understanding and acted fast to let us get to bed as was very late.
Helped in morning with suggestions and advice for taxis recovery services ect and offered refreshments and quiet space to deal with breakdown services.
Rooms are large spacious comfortable.
We visit the area every year for racing events and won't hesitate to book here in future.

What shall I say. I am not very enthousiastic. There was a party going on which was not a good idea since we were trying to sleep. Loads of noise in the corridor and music far to loud.
Just not the right hotel if you want a good nightsleep.

The hotel is well presented but the room could do with a refurb as they are a little dated but are large and comfortable
The hotel restaurant is super and the food is fresh and delicious
The facilities of the hotel are great especially the swimming pool and saunas

Polite and helpful staff. Rooms were very tired with a musky smell as well as the furniture . Price was good and breakfast was very nice.

Run down place. I'm surprised it is under Best Western name. Free car park and that's it. the rest is very bad.
Heater does not work. Freezing room. Was given an electric small heating fan in an old building cold walls with no insulation. Windows let cold air through. Was night of hell.
The night attendant was very apologetic but did not help me.
Reception manager apologised in the morning and offered free points 😂🤣😂. What do I need free points for when I will never comeback again. And by the way, the pint never took place.
Stay away from this place if u want to have a warm room and a decent food.

No lift to the rooms, please if you are not able to climb stairs then avoid this place. The place is spacious for any occasion nice, smart looking and friendly staff. I will recommend it to any one

Hotel feels a little dated. But the staff make up for it. The rooms themselves are ok maybe better lighting would help.

Stayed there for work the place is ok the food is very good though the whole place is a little outdated bit it serves a purpose when you have worked all day
My only complaint is the shower tray was broken so the bathroom flooded every time I had a shower and whoever decided that £3 for a can of Pepsi was acceptable in the vending machine is taking the piss

Needed somewhere clean and tidy for 1 night. This fitted the bill perfectly. Only small criticism was the breakfast was lukewarm, but they maybe a one off.

I stayed here for one night and woke up covered in 40+ bug bites.
A real shame, because everything else was great and the staff were really friendly. But yeah, i definitely think they need to get the pest removal team in or something.

Okay hotel however interior is dated. Windows do not fit the window frames in the room and are some what opened that allowed insects into the room. Was advised insect repellent would be placed in the room however was not delivered. Dinner on the first night was unavailable as the “chief had gone home early” bar shut early as well which was very disappointing.
